Ready, Set, School!
May - July
This is your chance to help a child start off their school year on the best foot possible. Sponsors receive the name, age, sizes and school grade of their child. Sponsors then go out and purchase their child a new outfit for the first day of school - including new underwear, socks, and a gift certificate for new shoes. Sponsors also purchase grade-appropriate school supplies and a new backpack for their child. At the end of July all the items are placed in the backpack and brought to Inter-Faith. Children will come here and pick up their new items the week before school starts. This program is so amazing because for many children it is the only time they receive new things that are just for them. It's an incredible boost to their self-esteem as they start the new school year.

Thanksgiving Baskets
September - November
Collect items needed for Thanksgiving Baskets or donate "Turkey Bucks" (money that is used to purchase turkeys, produce and items that we don't get enough of through our donation collections). Inter-Faith will be distributing almost 900 complete Thanksgiving Baskets the Saturday before Thanksgiving. These baskets include all the items needed for Thanksgiving day. The families and seniors that receive these baskets would not have anything for this holiday without help from the community. For more information on Thanksgiving click here.

Adopt-a-Family or Senior for the December Holidays
September - December
Sponsors receive information on their family or senior and purchase all new clothing and gifts as well as a gift certificate for the holiday meal. Items for the family or senior are brought to Inter-Faith and the families come here and pick up your generous donations. This program makes a huge impact on those who receive it. Without help they would not have anything to celebrate.
