Dance

Maybe you are frustrated, and burnt out. All you need to do is put on your favorite music and shake your groove thing.  Seriously stop what you are doing and just start moving. If you are worried about someone seeing you, shut your blinds and crank up that music. When we dance and exercise our body releases the feel good endorphins. Which means you will feel an instant connection to yourself and a sense of happiness.

Do Something Nice For Someone Else

When we go out of our own way to do something kind for another person we usually feel better. Give without having any expectations. When you do this you will feel better immediately. Chances are you are stressed out, and overwhelmed and when you are in this mindset the best thing to do is pause and relax. Step aside and away from your problem and reach out to a loved one. Do something that you love, and invite a friend to join you. Maybe go on a picnic in the park, walk your dog or go read to people at a senior citizen home. The possibilities of doing small acts of kindness are plenty.

Smile

Yes, just simply smiling will help you feel better instantly. When we frown we feel sad and depressed. Even if you are in a bad mood, curve your lips and smile. Smiling is the easiest thing to do and it is free. You don’t need a lot of money to feel good. Some people are insecure about their smile. If you have crocked teeth or bad breath you can visit your dentist and they will help you feel more confident. Just make an appointment and you will be on your way to a happier day.

Brush Your Teeth

Most people don’t think about brushing their teeth as a fun activity. But if you are feeling down and out, the simple act of brushing your teeth will help you feel better. Why because you are taking care of yourself. Studies show that people, who practice regular self-care, are happier than those who don’t take care of themselves. Treat your body with respect and pick a tasty toothbrush flavor to make it more fun.
