Littleton Rocks – Candlelight Walk 2015

Fri, Nov 27 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Littleton’s annual Candlelight Walk and Tree Lighting is held the Friday after Thanksgiving in historic downtown Littleton. This Littleton tradition is a festive evening of holiday lights and music for the whole family. Sip free hot cider, listen to live holiday music, and see real reindeer at Bradford Auto Body from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Candles are available for 50 cents. Cider and candles are also available at Bega Park, courtesy of the Western Welcome Week volunteers. Donations of non-perishable food for Inter-Faith Community Services are accepted at each location, as well as toys for the Arapahoe Santa Claus Shop. Main Street merchants stay open late for those who want to start, or continue their holiday shopping.

Santa Claus and his sleigh will start their trip down Main Street at about 6:30 p.m., magically illuminating the more than one million lights in the trees as he passes each block. When he reaches the end of Main Street, Santa will draw the name of one lucky child to help him throw the switch on the big lighted Christmas Tree in the plaza. After that, he will make his way to Town Hall Arts Center for photos and to listen to the first wishes of the season.

Main Street closes to vehicle traffic shortly after 4 p.m. on this day. For more information call 303-795-3863.
