Thanksgiving Food Basket Supporters Needed

IFCS Holiday Programs LogoCan you believe Thanksgiving is just around the corner? While many Coloradan’s see this holiday as a joyous time, those in need fear it. Why would they fear it? Trying to come up with enough money to make the traditional meal can push those families in need deeper into poverty. This is where we need your help.

Each year, IFCS provides hundreds of food baskets to those in need. These food baskets include traditional Thanksgiving dinner items as well as additional food items for the days after. This provides our neighbors in need with a whole week of support.

2 Ways to Help – It’s Really Easy

1. Help IFCS Deliver the Program

Delivering this program uses financial resources, help us to continue to provide for this huge need by donating today.

2. Collect Food Items to Donate

Help us put food in the baskets by collecting items to donate. We welcome any or all of these items. Feel free to gather what is convenient for you, but we ask that all food donations for this project be delivered by Friday November 7th to our food bank.

We especially have needs for:

  • Fruit Cocktail
  • Evaporative Milk
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Yams
  • Canned Pumpkin

Thank you for all your support!
