2015 Nibbles and Sips Is A BIG SUCCESS!
The 2015 Nibbles and Sips fine food and beverage Gala, an Evening of Raising the Roof to Prevent Homelessness and Hunger, brought in more than $130,000 for IFCS – the largest social services agency providing food, clothing and shelter options to thousands of South Metro Denver residents in need. This year’s event was held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center.
During the evening event, more than 560 people placed bids on 240 auction items, nibbled and sipped 51 local area restaurants and beverage suppliers while at the Boots and Bling Western themed event. Emcees for the event were Molly Hendrickson and Lionel Bienvenu of 7News.
The number of guests and funds raised were the largest in the event’s history going back over a decade.
“This is a great event brought together community supporters and leaders for a fun evening of learning about IFCS,” said Sandra Blythe-Perry, IFCS Executive Director. “Their generous support helps us fulfill our goal of neighbors helping neighbors.”
A large variety of silent auction items awaited guests like vacation packages to Mexico, Boston Redsox tickets, exclusive golf packages and adventure-themed items like a day with the Aurora SWAT or a Scavenger Hunt party with limo service.
This year’s key sponsors include:
Diamond and Presenting Sponsor
- CornerStar Wine and Liquors
Platinum Sponsors
- Craig Hospital
- Embassy Suites
- June & Dick Hicks Family Fund
- Syntratech
Planning for the 2016 event will begin soon and anyone interested in making an impact in their local community is encouraged to contact IFCS at 303-789-0501 or emailing Todd McPherson at toddm@ifcs.org.
