Four Terrific Tips for Quicker Spring Cleaning

Spring time is upon us, and many of you have probably not started your spring cleaning ritual. It often gets put off because it can seem overwhelming, but there are a few things you can do to make it faster and easier than you ever thought possible.
Four Terrific Tips for Quicker Spring Cleaning

1. Recruit Helpers

Invite your family and friends to a fantastic evening backyard barbecue. Explain to them you will be providing delicious food and drinks as a reward for them showing up early in the day and helping you complete your spring cleaning. Get everyone working, and it will be done before you know it. This is a great way to get your work done while enjoying a great time with your loved ones.

2. Take Shortcuts

You can still do a fantastic cleaning job without taking up a lot of your time. Before you go to bed, fill the oven with a self-cleaner and saturate the rest of the kitchen and bathroom fixtures with a cleaning solution of your choice. First thing in the morning, you should be able to easily clean everything that has been soaking overnight. If you have a lot of little ceramic collectibles, don’t waste time dusting each one individually. Soak them in an appropriate cleaning solution, allow them to air dry and then place them back on their well-dusted shelves.

3. Hire Professionals

It’s worth the money to hire professionals to come in and steam clean all your floors, wash your walls, clean the windows inside and out and tackle any other large or difficult cleaning jobs. You can handle the smaller jobs while these things are being done, and your home will be sparkling clean and smelling good.

4. Rent a Storage Unit

Yellowhead Self Storage a mini storage in Edmonton has said that if you just don’t have room in your home for all of your possessions, consider renting a storage unit for items you don’t need on a daily basis. Be sure to label everything you box up so you can find whatever you’re looking for when you want it. You will soon see how much easier cleaning can be when there is a place for everything, and your home will be so much more spacious and welcoming when it is cleared of excess clutter.

These tips should help you speed up your spring cleaning process and have it behind you for another year. Remember, you and your family deserve to live in a nice clean home, and you will feel much better when it’s all done and everyone is able to enjoy their beautiful home.
