California also has higher education options for low income students, namely the City College of San Francisco, which can be attended at almost no cost to the student with the help of scholarships.

Colorado is a gorgeous place to live. The education system is ranked among the top ten in the nation, and there is a lot of art and culture to explore. Take your family to the Denver Zoo, or check out one of the many First Friday events held throughout the state. You’ll find outdoor activities for everyone in your family here, and you’ll never be too remote from city culture and life.
