Monday through  Friday – 8:30 AM -12 PM

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 12:30 PM-3:30 PM

Why we want you: IFCS is a small organization with a large impact. Volunteers are needed to help staff complete the day-to-day tasks. Volunteers assist staff with making prepackaged food boxes, accepting and sorting donations, and stocking shelves.

Tasks & Activities:

  • Make prepackaged food boxes
  • Greet clients and help with food, via conveyor belt, maintaining social distancing
  • Greet donors courteously and have them unload donations
  • Identify expiration dates and damage of donated food and sort accordingly
  • Stock Market shelves.

The skills you need:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage a workplace that may be fast-paced or slow based on client interest
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Applicants must be over the age of 16.
  • Background check required
  • Civil Rights training via link provided to you
  • Bilingual applicants wanted
