Ready, Set, School!

rss 5

From mid-May through the end of June, volunteers assist clients to register their children so that they can be matched with a generous sponsor and receive a new backpack, age-appropriate school supplies, and new clothing and shoes to start the school year.

Starting mid-July, IFCS accepts backpacks from sponsors. Utilizing school supply lists, the volunteers assess for completeness and age-appropriateness for each backpack. Additionally, volunteers will assist with the distribution of backpacks.
