Volunteer for Thanksgiving Assembly Night

Help us feed low-income families in need!

Evening Plans……

You will help to make Thanksgiving Baskets for  hundreds of low-income families in need in our community.  Baskets containing the makings for a Thanksgiving meal will be distributed at the IFCS office on the Saturday morning before Thanksgiving.

Important: To help cover food costs and to sustain what we do for the community and this effort, a $10 donation from each volunteer is requested.  You will be redirected to the donation page once you have registered.  Thank you!

What you need to know…..

  1. Arrive at the IFCS Food Market entrance on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 by 5:00 pm.  You will check in with registration and receive a name tag.  If you have not already paid $10 to cover food costs and sustain what we do for the community and this effort, money will be collected at that time.  Once you have checked in and received your name tag, you will go to the main level of the building for dinner.  During this time you can enjoy a meal and mingle with other IFCS supporters.
  2. Between 6:00-6:15 pm, volunteers will be welcomed.  After staff introductions and broad overview of the evening, you will meet your group captain and other group volunteers to discuss more specific duties for the evening.
  3. After discussion, groups will then go back to the Food Market where the assembly fun will begin!  We often complete basket assembly within 1.5 hours.
  4. Register below now so you can have a spot, as volunteer spots are limited and tend to be filled quickly.  Once you register we will be able to email you to confirm and it will help us to ensure we have enough volunteers for that evening.
